Levi & Brooklynn

I am so glad I got the chance to photograph these two beautiful kids during my June trip to Florida.  Introducing Levi, 2 months old, and his big sister Brooklyn, 3 years old.

Starting off we had to reschedule days, due to the rain.  However, we ended up getting some yummy light and turned out some great photos.

We headed over to grandma's house to get some newborn pictures of little Levi at the beginning.. so, I brought out this cute lil suitcase that had I shipped in my luggage from Colorado.  Knowing I would be doing this shoot in advance I couldn't help but bring something with me from my prop stash!  Ha!

There was a perfect lil spot around the side of the house, so we wrapped up sleepy lil Levi in the suitcase and these are a few of what we got.

Then we got little Levi dressed and headed to the front porch to get a few of Levi in his bassenet and Brooklyn in her rocking chair.  Levi even woke up good for us to capture his big beautiful blue eyes!

Next we had a quick dress change for Brooklyn and snapped a few of her alone.  What a vibrant personality she has!  And sooo much fun to photograph!

Then we head out to the front of the house and get some pictures next to one of the many big old wheels Papa has.  We put Levi in an old tub and add a lil cowboy hat and ahhhh.. some super cute photos!

We add in big sister Brooklyn and get some more cute shots!

Then while mommy took a break to feed little Levi, we went out back to photograph Brooklyn having a little fun on the swing.  With a beautiful subject and perfect light.. the pictures turned out just gorgeous!

 

Lastly, we decide to capture a few of Levi and Brooklyn laying on a quilt in the grass.

Thank you, Mommy and Daddy, for allowing me to photograph your beautiful babies!  And thanks also to Papa for helping us out in the shoot!  The kids were little angels and it was a pleasure to photograph them.  Hope to see ya'll again soon!

Marcel - Newborn

This was my first shoot after taking maternity leave from photography last year.  Introducing Marcel, 9 days new, and his beautiful family.  He was such a handsome little guy to get me back into the groove!  We had already had to reschedule once because of the rainy weather, and as I was on my way to the shoot.. sure enough the clouds were dark and it looked like rain!  So, we started out taking some pictures of Marcel inside, using the natural light coming in through the back door.

Mommy handmade the blanket and Nana made the cute lil hat!

Then after a quick feeding, Marcel got an outfit change.

And we threw daddy in for a few shots as well.

Then there was a break in the rain, so we ran outside and took a few shots of the family all together.

And then some of mommy, daddy and baby.

We even managed to sneak in a couple of Marcel's gorgeous big sister Avena.  Look at those eyes!

Then another outfit change for everyone to get Marcel's daddy his requested Steeler's theme pictures.. If you can't tell from the following photos, he is an extremely big fan!

Marcel even has a Steelers pacifier!

Then back inside to get some super sweet pictures of mommy and baby.
